Our Love Story
2019
In 2019, Wafa picked up Huseyin from the airport. He was an international intern at Nusa Putra University, where Wafa was studying for her bachelor’s degree.
“It was love at first sight,” Huseyin says.
Fast forward: He traveled around Asia but couldn’t stop thinking about her, wondering what his life would be like without her. He decided to return to Indonesia to tell her he was in love with her.
They started a long-distance relationship soon after. Although the distance was vast—he in the US and she in Indonesia—it was never difficult because he never let her feel lonely, showering her with love every day.
2023
A Visit to Turkey and a Big Decision
In 2023, they decided to visit Huseyin’s family in Turkey and realized they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. So, they returned to Indonesia and told their families they wanted their relationship to become serious and get engaged.
2025
Dream Wedding and Forever After
As Wafa had promised him, she was willing to get married after successfully earning her Master’s Degree. And here we are, about to have their dream wedding, ready to publicly announce that they are husband and wife. As they kept their promise to each other, they are inviting loved ones to celebrate their exciting reception day.
